Our Pastor ...
Beth Elzey is newly appointed to Wesley United Methodist Church and previously served in Lay Ministry with her husband, Dave Elzey, at Christ United Methodist Church in Laurel, DE., their hometown. Both Beth and Dave work together in service to the congregation and the community to share the love and joy that a life devoted to Jesus Christ brings.
Beth's background includes elementary education and CNA work with seniors. Dave's career background also includes Law Enforcement, Retail Asset Protection Manager and Store Manager.
Beth and Dave have been married for 18 years and their combined family includes four children, 9 granchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, two dogs and a crazy cat.
"To serve one another and be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to everyone in our community and beyond" is the message of hope that God places on the heart of the Pastor and it is the message and truth that will be spoken in this family of believers.
